WEST JERSEY CHAPTER 5 WOMEN'S LACROSSE OFFICIALS
Who are we?
We are a chapter comprised of women's youth, high school, and college lacrosse officials who maintain the integrity of the game by keeping it safe, fair, and fun. Where are we located? Our chapter is located in South Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. We hold our meetings virtual and central locations in South Jersey. When do we meet? During the lacrosse season, we meet once a month for about 90 minutes. Meetings are in person and some are virtual. How do I become a lacrosse official? If you are interested in joining our chapter by becoming an official, please contact Megan Stielau by clicking on the tab "I WANT TO BECOME A LACROSSE OFFICIAL." Once I become an official, how will I get games? Our assignor, Julie Waicus, will contact you to set up your schedule. She uses the ZebraWeb system for her game assignments. I am a youth official. Do I have opportunities to officiate during the season? Yes! Roz Gill, our assignor for SJYLA, will also send an email regarding your availability for youth games on the weekends These games are assigned using ZebraWeb. There are also summer tournaments with youth officiating opportunities. |
